Facebook: increased government orders tracked users |
Facebook Announced company that requests governments to obtain information about users of the social network continues to have risen by nearly a quarter during the first half of this year.
The company explained in a press release that during the period from January to June last couple of Facebook received 34 thousand and 946 government request for data, an increase of 24% compared to the second half of the year 2013.

Chris Sundypri deputy general counsel, said in a Facebook "We carefully examine all governmental request we receive to ensure compatibility with the legal requirements and in accordance with our rules, and we demand when we find deficiencies in it."
The company also recorded a 19% increase in requests for the "abolition of content", in line with local laws, including requests to prevent in Germany to deny the Holocaust and India to ban criticism of religions or of the state.
