IBM unveils the fastest computer in the world The US technology company IBM, in partnership with the US Department of Energy, has announced the fastest computer in the world, which can do more than 200,000 trillion calculations per second. The company launched the name Summit on the new device, which had been in operation for years and announced last year about the possibility of completion of construction after a year.
